Intraocular pressure is the painless non-invasive testing of the fluid pressure inside the eye. It is an important test in the diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma.

The pressure inside your eye may be elevated due to eye problems such as inflammation, genetic factors or side effects from medication. It usually increases with age.
